I sense a theme here.....

PilerKhaaaaan07 is coming!  PilerKhaaaaan07 is coming!  PilerKhaaaaan07 is coming!  PilerKhaaaaan07 is coming!

Can you guess why the group theme is currently featuring SF?  Didn't think so.

The Land of FipeLele

Credit goes to Rosemary Clooney for this with her song "The Land of Hatchy Milatchy."  The song was used as the theme song for a kids show of the same name that used to air on our local ABC affiliate.  That damn show was one of my earliest TV addictions.  Speaking of addictions, the story that circulated after the show was canceled was that Miss Judy (the host) was in rehab for drug addiction... would explain a lot, I guess.  Take a look here for a link to a brief video: Hatchy Milatchy.

There's a wonderful place that you really should see
Called the Land of FipiLele
All boys and girls love this place yes siree
Called the Land of FipiLele
Peppermint candy and ice cream is free
In the Land of FipiLele
Soda pop fountains are under each tree
In the Land of FipiLele
Everyone rides on a-merry-go-round
All made of sugar and spice
Lollipops grow right out of the ground
The moon's made of strawberry ice
If you should run and you trip and you fall
In the Land of FipiLele
The ground's made of rubber you bounce like a ball
In the Land of FipiLele

Oh you-play the whole day and you don't go to bed
In the Land of FipiLele
Mommies and Daddies are put there instead
In the Land of FipiLele
Hundreds of bunnies lay Easter eggs
In the Land of FipiLele
Ride on a pony with candy strip legs
In the Land of FipiLele
Each day is always a big holiday
Birthdays and parties galore
Dollies and bicycles given away
Whenever you walk in a store
When I return then I never will leave
The Land of FipiLele
If you want to go all you do is believe
In the Land of FipiLele

Vox Hunt: This Goes Out To All The Lovers

Audio:  Share a great love song.

Saigon Kick was late to the game of Pop/Hair/Glam Metal, becoming popular in the early 90's as the genre was scrounging for scraps while Grunge took over.  Regardless, this song, along with Love is on the Way were two of my favorites and still are to this day.
